There’s a new online shopping site no Australian should leave un-browsed
There’s a new online shopping site no Australian should leave un-browsed

The name is Club 21 Online.
Asia-based Club 21 has opened its digital shopping platform, Club 21 Online, to Australia, giving us a new selection of luxury brands to add to cart. Designer heavyweights Marni, Balenciaga, Lanvin and Mulberry sit alongside more laidback luxe labels like 3.1 Phillip Lim, Rag & Bone and Frame Denim.
“We feel this is the right time to enter Australia as it’s one of the highest internet and smartphone penetration markets and has mature e-commerce purchasing behaviour,” says marketing director Linda Locke. In layman’s terms, that means a large number of us are hooked up to the internet with a smartphone and are really good at shopping online.
So if we’re already so good at doing it, what is the Club 21 advantage? Answer: the site’s loyalty program. Think of it as a frequent flyer program – the more you buy, the more points you accrue, which can then be traded for instant rebates or may entitle you to a tier upgrade (like going from a bronze to silver Qantas card). Club 21 members will also have the benefit of faster checkouts, a personal address book and sale previews.
While there are no plans just yet for a Club 21 bricks-and-mortar store in Australia, the company already operates here through retail licenses for Mulberry and other international brands. In the meantime, you can shop 24/7 online from the comfort of your home – and, be honest, what’s better than a bit of bedtime browsing to end the day?
